In November, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, 2pm-4pm.
This free annual event is low key, laid back and relaxing – where children have fun and can practice good manners, social skills, and respect for elders!
Check out last year’s below:
Giving Thanks at the Homestead A new family tradition for the month of November (As fun as visiting a pumpkin patch in October!)
Gather for a guided grounds tour of this century-old homestead. Walk through “The Portal of Time,” gaining appreciation for what has been, is, and might be. Reassemble in Homestead Gardens for a repast-with-libations, and to count our blessings. Children will plant sedum (with a parent’s help)(free) to take home to nurture.
